SEVEN Networks recognizes and respects the privacy of individuals.

Our software solutions are based on industry-leading technology for mobile traffic management and analytics. They gather data pertaining to network operation, device and application activity, and quality of experience. The purpose of this data is to help our wireless carrier customers to monitor and improve network performance and service quality, and to better serve the needs of their mobile user customers. Our software does not capture the content of any end user communications, such as emails or text messages. It does not log keystrokes or capture the content of web pages visited, photos, or applications. Our software can be customized to carrier customer specifications to meet data privacy standards that may vary by geographical region.

Depending upon the deployment model selected, the data may be housed in a customer data center, or in a SEVEN Networks data center as a hosted service. Regardless of the deployment model, the server software is protected from connections from outside the network by stringent security measures, including multiple layers of firewalls and network access controls. Our data centers are physically secure and we use state-of-the-art, commercially available technology to guard against unauthorized access to any data stored electronically by SEVEN Networks. The data collected by and stored on the mobile device is held in a secure temporary location on the device, is encrypted, and is not in human-readable form. We also encrypt the data in storage and when it is transmitted between the mobile device and the server.

We believe that end users have a right to be informed about the mobile services to which they subscribe, including the privacy aspects of those services. Our software is designed to conform to opt-in or opt-out privacy policies of our carrier customers and to otherwise be tailored to meet the privacy policies of those customers.

SEVEN Networks complies with the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries. SEVEN Networks has certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement. We will evaluate your complaint and if it is determined to be valid, take necessary and reasonable action to correct the issue. In the event that a resolution cannot be reached between you and SEVEN Networks, we agree that the EU Data Protection Authorities will resolve any disputes related to this policy for individuals located within the EU.
